WALMART PHARMACY has been opened now for approximately 10 (ten) years. I became a customer since they started in Oakland Tn. I've gotten to know a group of wonderful people who really care about their patients. I have been out of meds before and they gave me a few until they could reach my doctor. Waiting for prescriptions is not an unreasonable amount of time. I wouldn't go to any other pharmacy and am thankful for the manager Ashley, and her staff of hard working individuals.
3 out of 4 tech's walked off as I was waiting for my prescriptions to be filled.
My husband's had multiple heart stents, Parkinsonism & assorted other problems. These folks are highly efficient & more importantly VERY helpful. Will bend over backwards to get things done. Actually sent me to Kroger 2 blocks away because we needed something urgently rather than all the way to the Bartlett Walmart or ordering the item. Also-pharmacist caught a potential interaction with another one of his meds that the doctor missed. BIG vote for getting all your scripts filled in one place by subject matter experts who look at your history.
The majority of times I have great service, but recently they were to check with my physician about a refill and I just called to follow up. I was told my refill was declined by my physician and I need to call them myself. The problem is the lady had no information from me, time or opportunity to check my records. She just spouted out an answer.
